One green capsicum packs more vitamin C than an orange — surprising, but true.

The green capsicum is a bell pepper that's been picked before it fully ripened — which is why it has that signature sharp, slightly grassy bite. Brilliant in everything from Indo-Chinese chow mein to a full-on stuffed bharwa shimla mirch. Ours are thick-walled, glossy, and freshly cut — check the stem (still green = still fresh).
